My wedding
and event coverage
is traditional, formal and photojournalistic in concept.
I use a combination of equipment from 35 mm, medium
format and digital to produce the best results. The selected
photographs of the day will be a collection of beautiful
images presented in a Capri Album that will tell
the story as the event unfolds. I especially enjoy
finding the unexpected emotions. For instance,
at a wedding it is often the "behind the scene"
moment that becomes the photograph worth a thousand
words.
My
early inspiration has been through theatre and ballet.
Not only as a photographer of dance and dancers but
also as a performing artist on the stages of The United
States, Europe and the Middle East where I gained knowledge
of lighting and drama.
With
an innate sense of form I strive to produce images,
in the studio and on location, that are esthetically
pleasing to the eye.
My
continuing education through my association with
Photographers of America and various work-shops is an
ongoing process to learn new techniques and skills.
A favorite is working on location with renowned dance
photographer Marty Sohl. Ms. Sohl has been and
continues to be both mentor, colleague and an unlimited
source of photographic inspiration.
Over
all it is my ultimate intention to create an image of
beauty that will reflect the personality of each
individual that I have the privilege to know and photograph.
